Verwood Solar Farm is located near Verwood in Dorset, England. This project has been operating since Feb 2015. Community benefit grants are provided annually to support different local causes, including playground equipment for local schools and rooftop-mounted solar panels for the local village hall. The project is part of the Belltown Education Programme which runs educational workshops on climate change at local primary schools. Annual surveys are undetaken to support a habitat management plan that supports local species, insects and fauna.
